New Editor

I have decided to step down as the Collection Editor. I've given it a lot of thought over the past few months and feel this is the right decision for me and for the LDP.

The role of Collection Editor is an important one, but not one I am very good at, and we also have other needs that require my programming skills. Therefore, I have asked Joy Goodreau to take over the Editor job for me. For awhile now Joy has been helping with the editing and reviewing efforts, and has been doing very well. Please welcome Joy to her new role and give her the same support you have given me.

I will not be leaving the project, just working on different things, so don't think you're now free of me. :-)

About the LDP

The Linux Documentation Project is developing free, high quality documentation for the GNU/Linux operating system. This includes the creation of HOWTOs and Guides, and collaboration with other documentation groups.

If you've always wanted to help Linux reach Total World Domination(tm), but you're not a programmer, there's still something you can do. Help the LDP!

The LDP keeps a page of resources for authors at http://www.linuxdoc.org/authors/. Contributions are always welcome.
